Carlton Davis, a cornerback for the New England Patriots, voiced his support for Gonzalez’s potential record-setting deal. Speaking to media members after the first day of training camp practice, Davis stated that Gonzalez is “deserving of all of it,” acknowledging his teammate’s performance as one of the league’s top defensive backs.
